Online payments to SDAA can be made through ALL financial institutions:
- Bank of Montreal
- Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce
- Credit Unions
- Royal Bank of Canada
- Scotia Bank
- TD Canada Trust
If you use online banking through your home computer, you will need to set SDAA up as a "vendor". We will be listed as "Saskatchewan Dental Assistants' Association" or some variation thereof. You should probably complete your search at your earliest convenience and set SDAA up as one of your vendors. Making the time to do this ahead of time gives up time to correct any issues that may arise with your financial institution.
First, go to the SDAA website ( www.sdaa.sk.ca ) LOGIN and complete the online renewal process. Fill in the blanks and click "SUBMIT". The system will email you an invoice for the amount payable. Then go to your online banking and make the payment. Once the payment arrives we will enter your payment and a receipt and practice permit will be generated.
Do keep in mind that the transfer time for these payments can be in excess of three days. You will need to have your SDAA Registration Number handy (it is located on your certificate, your practice permit and your receipt). The number is sufficient for most financial institutions. Apparently some financial institutions require 5 digits, in which case you would enter the appropriate number of zeros preceeding your SK number. Be sure that you enter the number correctly. When the payment comes through, the number may be our only link to you!
