The Member Management System allows you to take responsibility and control of your standing as a regulated health professional. Log in and upload professional development, make changes to your profile, print invoices all from the comfort and safety of your own home. Watch for updates in the coming weeks, we will be posting tutorial videos showing you how to navigate the member portal to help you make the most of our Member Management system!

Hi – you can remain on a non-practice licence for four full years (full year is $110.00). In the 4th year you must take an Infection Prevention & Control Courses and obtain a minimum of 15 professional development credits. In the fifth year you must upgrade to practice status and again collect 15 professional development credits.  We will notify you when you are in your fourth year. 

Yes, as long as you are in good standing (complete your PD) and hold the NDAEB certificate, you can lapse, however, you must reinstate in the 3rd year. As a non-member, you will receive no notifications.

The SDAA Regulatory Bylaws are silent on supervision. This means that an RDA, (holding a full practice licence) practising within their training and scope of practice, under the prescription of the dentist can practice. They do not require any supervision. It is up to the dentist to determine how the treatment plan is generated. If you have an employee with a Restricted Practice licence, they require supervision and can be supervised by a RDA, SDT, RDH or Dentist.
